After a successful career in Sales and Sales management in Wisconsin, Ted retired to Pine Knoll Shores in 1986 and immediately became involved in a variety of community volunteer activities. He has served on the board of directors of Helpline, Atlantic House and Bogue Banks Country Club and as President of the Carteret County Domestic Violence Program. He has served his community on various boards including a term as President of the Beacon's Reach Master Association, Chairman of the Pine Knoll Shores Board of Adjustment, and five years as Police Commissioner of Pine Knoll Shores.Ted loves the Crystal Coast and working with people.
